okay so i'm really loving MAC lipgelée and those chunky eye pencils by CoverGirl (on sale!). YES I'm still awake. And I'm eating everything in sight. I so wanted pizza but that was a no-can-do.

Wanted to see the boyfriend but I woke him up when I called him at like, 2:30, so that was also a no-can-do.

Beef barley canned soup. I just wanted the broth, but what could I do? I love microwaves.

Key lime martinis are my new thing. I had one a couple weeks ago in Vegas, but it wasn't too great. The one at the Ivar was great, and the one at Starshoes was decent.

Still a tiny bit buzzed. I think I'm going to go to bed soon.

just got home 1/2 hour ago and am pleasantly buzzed and am craving pizza BUT am too buzzed to drive anywhere to get any...even the frozen kind. POOP.

i think that was coherent. we'll see tomorrow.

okay ONE more thing...

april is the best possible person to have around while vomitydrunk. when i woke up the following morning (oh the dreaded morning hangover) my hair was all tied back into a ponytail, my jewelry was sitting on the nightstand, my belt was off and coiled neatly on the dresser AND my pants were still on (ref: brian @ saddle ranch)! lovely, lovely girl.

Sofia

I had seen Sofia (named for Francis Coppola's daughter, of course) at the Niembaum-Coppola winery when mr. boyfriend and I (technically not a boyfriend at the time but whatever) went on our little excursion to Napa. Recently discovered that Trader Joe's carries four-packs of the sparkling white for about ten bucks. I ventured over to TJs after going to Michael's (it was in the next plaza over) to see if the carried it. I got the last box :) Wanted to try one tonight so I broke it open and was instantly enamored by the little red can and the retractable straw (reminiscent of elementary school juice boxes) adhered to the side. It's a bit drier than what I prefer, but the novelty did (and still does, I guess) sucker me in. In all honesty, though, the straw just increases the fizziness, which I don't like. After a few sips I disposed of the straw and drank it from the glass as I would any other wine. I don't have champagne flutes...yet! I love champagne flutes and am still searching for a great-looking (yet affordable) set.

The straw does kind of remind me of a tampon applicator, though =\

Okay, so here's a question.

Is it okay to "let yourself go" after you find someone? I think there's a certain amount of upkeep that you should maintain even after you've found yourself a serious boyfriend/girlfriend. In fact, that's something you should want to do. Granted, if you see someone aaalll the time, you aren't going to look completely fabulous every. single. time. We all have our off days and that's okay. However, no longer caring about your looks and/or no longer working out, shaving (or showering) regularly, whatever--for the sole reason that there's "no one to impress"...? It's called taking them for granted which is SO NOT COOL. Besides, when (okay...if) your significant other leaves you? You'll be the one left with the sudden need to "impress" and 25 pounds to lose :)

Anyhow, that "you" up there is an indefinite you. I'm not talking about you specifically :)

haa

This quote still makes me laugh:
sar (4:17 PM): whatcha doing?
sar (4:17 PM): feasting on young children? [:)]
sar (4:18 PM): i dunno why i put a happie face there =S

We must meet up sometime, Sar.

Anyhow, today was the company dinner. I somehow ended up with four boxes of leftovers. Holymoly. It was fun though :)

Here's a recent photo. Sorry! night. Awesome game :D

Good times. I forgot who won. All I know is that it wasn't me, and it definitely wasn't April ;D

It's the holidays. BAH.
