You know, I think that it still holds true. 2006 has been a weird year. Weird and maybe weirdly unhappy. For some reason I suspected that this was going to happen...

Or maybe it's because everything kind of wound down this year. Last year I was just waaay too drunk (haha) to really sit down and mull over the aspects of my life that I was unhappy about. Plus I was dealing with a lot of changes at the time--not all bad, either. I mean, last year I broke up with a boyfriend, got another boyfriend, graduated, got my first "real" job, moved out on my own, etc. Exciting!

Apes says she has a good feeling about 2007. Here's hoping...!

I have, however, managed to keep my new year's resolution: no alcohol-induced vomiting. Yay me! Just a couple more weeks to go and I'll be all good!

Short-term goal: not to have any Valentine's/Valentine's related plans in 2007 simply because it's been four years since that has happened. Perhaps I should also make it a goal not to kiss anyone when the clock strikes 12 on new year's eve.

in other news, the hungry coworker introduced an omega hay qua new word to me: defenestrate!

call me slow, but i had never heard of that word until this week.

call me easily amused, but isn't it awesome that there's a word that means "throwing stuff out of a window"?

am craving korean food and/or dim sum.

soft tofu, bulgogi, and/or japchae sounds delicious right now. when the weather gets chilly korean food seems to be the way to go (for me, at least).

I'm okay, I really am. I think it was something that had to be done. There was nothing really wrong with him, per se, but many, many things were wrong with us. For those of you who were trying to reach me last weekend (Friday, Saturday), that is the reason why I was somewhat unreachable.

I think I need to take a real break from this whole serious relationship thing. It seems I'm not very good at it.
